Prayer Praises and Concerns

On praying with authority….

“If you are interested in prayer at all, you want prayer that works. When we discover that prayer is not just asking God to do something, that prayer is a partnership with God, new possibilities open before us. We are God’s sons and daughters, given the authority of Jesus Christ. We have a greater role in prayer than we ever thought! Greater power too!”

Please continue to pray…

  • For the victims and families of the El Paso and Dayton tragedies
  • For all of the emergency services personnel that carry the weight of these tragic events daily
  • That God would heal the brokenness of our culture that manifests itself in these evil acts
  • For forgiveness on behalf of all who seek to gain votes or prosper from these events
  • For leaders to seek solutions and unity on the issues that plague us
  • For people to seek Jesus and have faith overcome fear
  • That the banner of Christ be lifted high through every challenge we face

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”.

                                                                                                 Phil. 4:6,7
